Fresh cream

i just picked this up yesterday from ulta after hearing many good things. i’m obsessed with gourmand scents so I had to try it.
when i initially sprayed it, it had an overwhelming alcohol scent, but it settled in fairly quickly. the first notes I got were definitely cream and tonka bean. not really a sweet cream, kind of just creamy. it smelled very nutty and almost milky on my clothes, but on my skin it smelled sweet like whipped cream and very very faintly floral. i will probably be layering with sweeter vanilla gourmand scents, because the the sweet notes don't stand out to me in this one.
the smell is not overwhelming if you like a gourmand scent that wont give the room a headache. overall on its own I give it a 7/10. will definitely layer while wearing though.

I never get tired of the scent of philosophy's fresh cream bath and shower gel. It smells exactly as the name implies, like they poured a whole bottle of fresh cream into the container. Delightful! And it bubbles up very quickly after a small dose of product. I will buy this item over and over whenever I can--that's how much I like it!!
